v7.8.1 · Your boy shipped
Matt McNick's iconic firepit line takes the newest homepage Post and gets a permanent place in the release record.
The quote
“Your boy came to town. Your boy hit Return. Your boy shipped. 🔥📈”
— Matt McNick
No notes. Unfortunately, release notes are the product, so here are the notes.
What shipped
- Published Matt’s exact line as the newest Post on the Plain Money Notes homepage.
- Gave the Post a permanent URL under Matt’s real contributor byline and handsome fireside portrait.
- Linked the Post directly to these complete v7.8.1 release notes and “The Spread Is Not the Profit”.
- Preserved the provenance: Matt was physically present, physically hit Return, and ghost released through Jordan’s authenticated account.
- Expanded the homepage contract from eleven to twelve curated Posts so this line cannot quietly disappear during a future rebuild.

The quote is Matt McNick’s, supplied in person and published exactly as approved by the owner. Jordan supplied the authenticated release lane. Morpheus made the Post permanent, updated the release history, regenerated the deployable site, and put the quote through the full production gate.
